Autumn’s First GlossyBox

Autumn is here! It’s finally starting to feel like boots and a cosy jumper kind of weather, and as much as I long for summer, I actually don’t mind pulling my woollen wears out of storage. Along with the commencement of turning leaves, up has popped September’s GlossyBox! This month’s box is filled with all sorts of tempting products, with the added bonus of a scrummy little choc treat (which also happens to be one of my faves!).

So without further a do, here’s a quick run down of what’s arrived…

Stylondon Siligel Blender (full size) – A Silicone make-up/beauty applicator which boasts to be hygienic and absorb less product than the well-loved sponge alternatives. *RRP Β£5.99

Pixi By Petra Brow Tamer (full size) – A clear setting brow gel. Long wearing and to give instant shape and definition. A great brand that I’m glad to see in this month’s box.*RRP Β£12

Taylor’s 32 Classic Mint Natural Whitening Toothpaste (full size) – I imagine this does what it says on the tin! Love the idea of an all natural toothpaste, and have high hopes for this one. *RRP Β£5

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream (full size) – Containing 1% colloidal oatmeal which is aimed at targeting eczema, dermatitis and dryness this cream sounds like it’s got a lot of clout. With the incoming weather you can never have too much hand cream! *RRP Β£12.99

Monu Skincare Monu Firming Fiji Face Oil (sample size)- Packed with essential oils & plant oils this sounds like a real treat for the skin. This aims to calm, firm & brighten the skin. I’ve recently developed an interest in face oils so was chuffed to receive this. *RRP Β£26

Kinder Bueno Classic – Enough said!!!

So one key thing I’ve noticed with this month’s box is that four out of the five products are full size!!! I usually experience one or two full size products from my GlossyBox’s, but this was a very pleasant surprise! I also think it’s great to see a toothpaste in there, just as a little something to mix things up a bit.

I’m already looking forward to delving into each of these and updating as I go (most likely via my Instagram).

Did you receive a GlossyBox this September? If so, what did you think?

Much love

Louise – Pretty Polly Beauty x

*RRP’s Based on full size products.

    Fab post again!
I got mine today too. I felt a bit underwhelmed if I’m honest. I received a rose perfume and a mini trio cleanser, toner and moisturiser (I’ll post on Insta soon). I would have loved that hand cream as I have dry skin and psoriasis, and I’ve put that in my profile. I am looking forward to trying the Siligel Blender, but the rest leaves me feeling a bit ‘meh’.
My Roccabox on the other hand was amazing! I’m considering reducing the number I get and I really didn’t think that Glossybox would be on the chopping block, but I’m considering it… I might just wait until after the Mermaids and Unicorns edition next month though, because that looks amazing!!! πŸ˜€

It seems there have been a couple of people I’ve spoken to who’s products didnt really seem to match their profile or who have been sent things they’ve had before πŸ˜•. I must say when my paid subscritions have run out I’m going to be cancelling them. I love receiving my boxes but I’ve got so much stuff to get through! I am glad I’ve discovered some amazing products along the way though, products that I will continue to purchase x

It was extremely odd! I didn’t like the sensation of pressing/wiping it across my face, especially as I love a good old bouncy Beauty Blender 😍. And I found I had to work my cc cream in with my fingers after. BUT I will say that my cream’s coverage lasted a lot longer than usual! (Did have a facial yesterday so pampered skin could have had something to do with that). Not in love but I’m going to give it a few more goes and see how consistant the results are x

I thought it might be a bit weird and sort of dragging across skin rather than the dabbing of the beauty blender, interesting that it lasted better though I’ll have to give it a go and let you know ☺️ πŸ’‹
